Time is running out...I know this has been a difficult challenge, but I'm about ready to close the mixed tape chapter of my blog and move on. If you'd like to submit your favorite song to the "Meaningful Mixed Tape" mix, please do so ASAP. I would love to hear from you, so please comment as soon as you can. If you have a hard time narrowing it down, just pick something you're currently listening to - I would totally dig anything you have to give me.
To those of you who've already submitted songs! I love them. This is going to be fun!!
Love,
Em-Cat

Ok! Ok! Ok! Hope there is still time. You may hate me for some of the following BUT....
Country Roads by John Denver
She's on Fire by Train
Do, Do, Do, De, Da Da Da (or Every little thing she does is magic)- Police
Yesterday-Beetles
No Woman No Cry, 3 little birds, or Is this Love-Bob Marley
Better Together-Jack Johnson
One-U2
Anything from Donavon Frankenreiter (he's a stud)
and homegrown boy Peter Brienholdt.
And you have to have to have to include Sorry Signs on Cash Machines by Mason Jennings.
Ummm...I could go on forever!
I am really digging the following soundtracks:
Gladiator, Rudy, Glory (A call to arms...gives me the shivers), Sound of Music, and Juno.
Whew....my debt is paid!
Dan votes for:
Read my Mind by the Killers
OK so I want a piece of the action...how about the world spins madly on by the weepies or stay by lisa loeb OR free your mind by en vogue..OR haha heres to the night by eve 6. I know they are all way different but hey that's how I roll.
Wow Rebecca! Are you seriously expecting me to choose one of those songs? No chance you could narrow it down?
Heather...yours is better, but I could use a little help narrowing yours down as well...
I changed mine. It's on your other post...
Narrow it down? Do you realize how long it took me to get this list together....How bout you pick?
BTW-Have you really been to all those places that you had marked on your map? It appears that there in one dot on Iran...For sure have to tell me that story!
Um...Hi...you're funny Rebecca. Those dots on the map are of places people live who have viewed my site.
ugg. ok. hard to handle by black crowes.
ripple or something by grateful dead
burn to shine or something by ben harper
heart of gold something by neil young
Extraordinary Machine or something by fiona apple.
hey, everyone else gave multiple suggestions.
OK if I must narrow it down...I would say either free your mind by en vogue or here's to the night by eve 6 because I don't have either of those on cd anywhere :)
